ONR 3712 Cu Ft NSC 40' Boxcar

Ontario Northland Railway operated a series of 40' NSC boxcars numbered 91000-91069. The 91000-91069 series consisted of 70 boxcars, which were used for general freight transportation across Ontario Northland's network. These cars were rebuilt from 90000 series boxcars in around 1962 where the 8' door was added. As of 2023, some Ontario Northland boxcars had reached the end of their service life. The railway has offered approximately 16 scrap rail boxcars for sale, indicating that older series like the 91000-91069 may be gradually phased out of active service.
